Once again the Archibald, Wynne and Sulman exhibition at Art Gallery NSW provides an opportunity to see some of the very best Australian artists have to offer. Many of the portraits in the Archibald Prize exhibition are stunning and as always with this event there are some controversial entries. The winner of the Archibald was well deserved as a high quality piece of work. The winner of the Wynne somewhat disappointing given the high standard of some of the other entries.
The exhibition is a much awaited event on the Sydney art calendar.
A total of 128 works are on exhibition until 28th Sept after which the exhibition will tour nationally.

Morning Bay –
Serpentine Rock
By: Joshua Yeldham
2014
Stand still on the banks of the Hawkesbury River.
Stand still and let them vanish around the bend.
Can you feel yourself
leaning away from the path?
This is your chance to surrender, to breathe
and abandon the trail.
Slip through the fence and scamper across the rocks.
Traverse through blades of grass.
Open your arms.
Awaken your senses and creative knowledge will find you and
you will understand why movement feeds your imagination.
