Singapore Gardens By the Bay

Move over Avatar! This futuristic complex is set to become a major attraction in Singapore.
We visited a few weeks after the opening in August 2012 and many of the 250,000 rare plants still need to grow and mature, but the concept is magic!
16storey vertical gardens designed to create cascading gardens, collect rainwater and generate solar power.
Three of the towers are linked by a suspended walkway and as the sun sets over Singapore a wonderful sound and light show highlights the towers and gardens in a myriad of colours.
Well worth a visit and a wonderful addition to the attractions of this wonderful city.
